Sebring (1180)

I remember being hesitant to read this series. Or perhaps it was a hesitancy to continue after reading Knight a few years prior, as it wasn’t a favourite. This series was a departure for KA at the time, her heroes in this series weren’t as clean cut as I was used to and they fell more into the anti-hero category. I read Knight in 2013 and didn’t finish the series until 2019.

It’s important to note that I didn’t really start reading romance again (after roughly a 10 year break) until 2012. I was mortifyingly, the worst kind of person, and was a bit of a book snob prior to early 2012. I wouldn’t entertain romance! What a boring knob I was!! So the upshot was, once I started reading books from this multi billion dollar industry again, it took me a while to come to terms with an anti-hero, I thankfully came to my senses!

I feel I need to reread this series again soon. Maybe I’ll skip Knight though!

It was very good but I think the end was actually a bit too rushed and well I wanted more of Nick and Livvie together and happy because I’m greedy like that.

I’m rating 4.5 stars but I’m 99% sure on a reread it will be 5 stars.

A really solid end to the series just a little anticlimactic.

I think Deacon is my favourite of the series, followed by Creed, Raid, Sebring and then Knight. Solid series all in all but it’s no Colorado Mountain! 😀
