Archangel’s Storm Collage

My hope is to eventually write a dedicated Guild Hunter post but given that I want to do the same for Nalini Singh’s Psy/Changeling series I’m not going to commit to such a large undertaking this early in the new year.

I think when I do tackle it I’ll make a collage for each book. It might be easier done with this series but it will still hold some challenges. Nalini is great at making her characters utterly unique. That’s fabulous for reading, hard for casting. 😀

Archangel’s Storm is one of my favourites of hers because it is so very atmospheric and Archangel’s Fort is based on an actual place. It helps to paint a picture. The fort is Amber Fort located in Amer, Rajasthan, India.

I also love this book because I’m very fond of the main characters. I know a lot of people don’t love this one because they wanted more Raphael and Elena after Archangel’s Blade and instead they got a book where they barely feature, I’ll admit, when it was announced that it wouldn’t be them I was a little disappointed, but I fell madly in love with Mahiya and Jason and for me it was a wonderful addition to the series.

Archangel’s Storm

Archangel’s Storm (Guild Hunter #5) by Nalini Singh

With wings of midnight and an affinity for shadows, Jason courts darkness. But now, with the Archangel Neha’s consort lying murdered in the jewel-studded palace that was his prison and her rage threatening cataclysmic devastation, Jason steps into the light, knowing he must unearth the murderer before it is too late.

Earning Neha’s trust comes at a price—Jason must tie himself to her bloodline through the Princess Mahiya, a woman with secrets so dangerous, she trusts no one. Least of all an enemy spymaster.

With only their relentless hunt for a violent, intelligent killer to unite them, Jason and Mahiya embark on a quest that leads to a centuries-old nightmare… and to the dark storm of an unexpected passion that threatens to drench them both in blood.
