Black Water Sister by @zenaldehyde is definitely one of my favourites from this year. Loved the mythology, loved the writing and absolutely adored the characters!

Next up on the holiday #tbr is another @authornalinisingh and this is a new genre from her for me. I 100% trust Nalini and I’m excited to start! I may also have to start Caressed by Ice as well because I’m in a mood! 😂

I’ve been terrible at posting lately and it’s mostly because captions are hard and I’ve gotten so lazy about reviews! 🙈

Next up for the #bookstorians book club is Deacon King Kong by James McBride and I’m most excited about it. Think I’ll start today. I’m really feeling like my reading mojo is back and historical fiction in particular is calling to me. I’ve reread A LOT this year so it’s great to feel motivated to pick up new books again. 🥳

I’m halfway through this absolute beauty and it’s possible that this will be the book to give me my historical fiction mojo back! 😍

Finished this beast by @say_shannon yesterday and absolutely loved it. My only complaint is that I’d have loved more and I never thought I’d say that about an 800 page book yet here we are! 🤷‍♀️
