Oh boy am I behind with 2026 posting! As is evidenced by my posting my January wrap up in March! I’ve lots of excuses, my being sucked into the Heated Rivalry fandom is chief among them. I shall also blame my January non-fiction review, I got really in my head about it and it delayed things exponentially. So my plan is just to bang out the eight (EIGHT) posts that I’m behind on. Things won’t look pretty but at least I’ll be caught up!

I’m not going to go too far into detail about where I stand on my challenges at this stage. To be honest, I’m so far behind that I really don’t know where I was in terms of numbers and percentages back in January. I read seven in the Romanceopoly — 2026 Reading Challenge in January!
Some of the other challenges I’m taking part in this year are; TwentyOffMyShelf 2026🥰, Twenty Genres in 2026, and my own Non-fiction reading 2026. I’ll up date the numbers on all these once I’m up to date on posting.

Heated Rivalry (Game Changers #2) by Rachel Reid was a prompt from the Core Curriculum challenge in Romanceopoly — 2026 Reading Challenge. Thus began my obsession with Rachel Reid, Heated Rivalry, the cast and crew, fan edits, and fan fiction. I may never recover!
Cash (Lucky River Ranch #1) – 3.25⭐, Wyatt (Lucky River Ranch #2) – 3⭐, Sawyer (Lucky River Ranch #3) – 3⭐ by Jessica Peterson
I like this series, it’s all very insta but it’s fun. I had a love/hate relationship with some of the characters but in the end I did enjoy all three books! The next book is a trope I don’t love so I’ll need to build myself up to it, but I’ll for sure finish this series, it’s not perfect but they are a cute quick read!
