The last photo journal of 2023. This was such a fun little project and one I’m absolutely going to keep doing. I sometimes fall a little behind (like this month) but they are great for looking back on the year. 2023 wasn’t an easy year but with this journal I can see that it also had some lovely moments which can be easy to forget about when things are tough!

🏳️⚧️Started the month going to a fun little alternative Christmas market with my nieces in law (who are my age) and picked up this gorgeous trans ghosty ornament for our tree.
🎉 Had our work Christmas thing in Carlingford. It’s such a cute town. I won’t call it a party because our work thing is the furthest thing from a party you could get but we did have a nice time.
❄️ We celebrated 21 years together on December 13th. To mark the occasion we usually go away for a night and that usually coincides with my trip to my family for our Christmas celebrations so it’s usually Waterford and they have a lovely festival every year so the town is buzzing.
🏖️ Had a lovely time with my family, my nieces in particular. Not spending actual Christmas with the family often gets me strange looks but this works really well for us and so far makes actual Christmas less stressful for everyone.
🍷 Pre Christmas celebrations on the day I finished up for the holidays with the bestie. We may have went overboard. 🙈
💅 Christmas and New Year nails. I freaking love them.
🏬 Pre Christmas afternoon with my cousin with a little bit of shopping on Grafton Street. It’s always so pretty at Christmas.
🚴♀️December saw me hit 50 spins since the last weekend in June. This was something I really wanted to achieve in 2023. Spinning has been one of my biggest 2023 highlights. So glad to be back and love the studio I go to.
🍽️ Christmas date night in an old favourite restaurant. We had the best night.
🥂 Did a New Year’s Eve lunch with the bestie and then home to watch Lord of the Rings and ring in the New Year with the better half!
Happy New Year everyone! 🥳

Thanks!
