Wakenhyrst Collage

Wakenhyrst by Michelle Paver was a late 2020 read and was beautifully atmospheric. It was impossible not to do a collage.

I loved how creepy and gothic it was. I also like that I’m kind of still guessing about everything but that doesn’t mean we don’t get answers. It is all sewn up nicely but I’m still left thinking about things.

It kind of put me in mind of The Yellow Wall-Paper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. You know, men being terrible to women throughout history just because women don’t behave the way men think they should!
