If a book is very atmospheric I’ll often create a collage for it once I’ve finished reading. I get the majority of the photos from Unsplash. I have a few already made and I enjoy doing them so I’ve decided to share them every now and then. Maybe monthly or something?!
Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia was one of my top reads last year. I’m not one for horror. At. All. This book was so engrossing though and I didn’t want it to end. I also couldn’t wait to finish because I needed to know how it ended, so I read it in one sitting.
This is one of those books that you can’t really review in any depth because there are so many potential spoilers and it’s really a book that you should go into reading without knowing anything about. One thing that can be said though, Noemí is a badass and I would never be as brave as her. I’d have been out of there so fast there would be a hole in the wall.
