March 2026 in Pictures

March photo dump!

🐈‍⬛ This cat is only ever nice to me when I’m sad. Not a single scratch since March! I’ve probably jinxed it now but she has been very sweet! 😂

💅 I may have gotten these done in February, but only took a photo in March? Either way, spring nails!

⛲️Went on a lot of lunchtime walks in March.

🍸 & 🌮 Date day!

☕️ Another good local coffee spot found!

💐 Garden blooming!

❤️ My godmother died at the end of March. She was one of my favourite people in the world. Losing her is obviously not joyful but remembering her (even though painful right now) is joyful. She was an amazing woman and I’m incredibly fortunate to have had her in my life for 43 years. This was us on a trip to Croatia in 2023. She was 81 here and climbing walls in Dubrovnik in 40°c heat. She was hiking in the Swiss Alps in August last year and it’s hard to believe she’d be gone just 7 months later. She was an absolute force, and she lived life to its very fullest. I hope I can be even a little bit like the badass she was as I get older. I really hope I can be as good an aunt as she was. I do try, but I’m not sure I could ever live up to that high a standard!

I come from a huge family, I’m very lucky that the majority of my aunts and uncles are still with us, but of course that means they are all getting that much older now. The song choice for this post was sang at my uncles burial in February. We spent all our Christmas’s with him and his family as I was growing up, and getting him to sing this was always the highlight of the day. It makes me cry now but hopefully that will pass, and I’ll be left with the good memories! ❤️

Goodness, I ended this on a bummer, but I read a book about grief in April, and I’m trying acceptance of my feelings in the moment. 🫠
