A very late April photo dump, May has been busy! 😅
April was amazing, we had some incredible weather and it just puts you in such good form! It was hard limiting this to 10 pictures and I did think about adding more but I feel like things could get out of hand if I started doing that and I’d end up with 50 pictures each month. Trying to stick with things that brought joy and still cause me joy when I look at back them.
1. The first spin sunrise in April. With the clocks changing at the end of March we get another week or so of darkish mornings. The sunrise walking across O’Connell bridge makes it worth it. 🌅

2, 3, 4, 5. April means Spring and that means flowers, there is a lot of flowers in this photo dump because Spring flowers make me so happy! Autumn is my favourite season but Spring is number 2. 💐

6. My uncle went to Argentina and Uruguay at the end of March. Instead of using a travel agent I planned and booked everything! This was STRESSFUL because he is notorious for ending up in situations on trips. Like being left behind by his tour group in Uluru or thinking it was a good idea to go to Mexico for the day and trying to cross back over into the US via the Texas border, oh and losing his passport, but that happened in Europe to it wasn’t too bad! So I was nervous and stressed but it went without a hitch and now he has a bucket list item ticked. He got this beautiful notebook from Uruguay and the magnet from Argentina. The real gift was him coming home alive though. 😂

7. First night of the year I got to sit out and read. The weather has remained somewhat good since but temperatures dropped so not much sitting out.

8. New nails 💅

9. Went to see The Book of Mormon. I’m kind of unsure about it to be honest but we had a really great evening and I got a Manhattan with a cherry so that’s a success! 🍹

10. I walked around 210km in April. I’m not going to lie, it’s not been easy. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s so time consuming. It’s also causing some issues with my right foot, the days I go over 10km in particular, but it’s doing wonders for my brain and it’s also really helping with strength training. Anyway, I hate this park! 😂 This was our COVID park, we walked it and only it for so long. I was sick looking at it. I’m back again though and I really don’t hate it, it’s great for a quick walk! This is usually my go to for my lunchtime walk. 🚶♀️
