I started writing this Sherlock Holmes blog series (checks notes) in September 2021! I had lots of work done but I hadn’t written a review for The Valley of Fear back when I initially read the entire series and as The Valley of Fear was going to be in my first post (all the standalones) I procrastinated. The review for all the stories and standalones are the bare minimum so my only excuse is I don’t think I realised how much work I’d done on all the posts and imagined I had lots more to do. I did not! I had about an hour of work and looking for some feature images so it wasn’t that bad.

We are here now though so it all worked out. And now is the 22nd May, Sherlock Holmes Day and  Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s birthday.

My last reread (and I think my first complete reading) of Sherlock Holmes was Sherlock Holmes: The Definitive Collection audiobook narrated by Stephen Fry. I can’t recommend this audiobook collection enough, Stephen Fry does an outstanding job and you can really tell he is a proper fan.
