Today’s bloganuary prompt is ‘Write about something that makes you feel strong.’
For me feeling strong kind of revolves around taking care of my mental health and that can entail many different things.
Walking, regular(ish) exercise, hiking (which I’m only getting back to), spending time alone in nature, feeding the birds, facials, doing my nails, getting my hair done, alone time in my library, eating good food, spending time with the people I love, reading…
The list is never ending I guess, all these things make me feel good and when I feel good mentally I feel like I’m stronger. I think that being strong is often more psychological than physical so it’s important to look after that first.
