October 2024 in Pictures

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” — Lucy Maud Montgomery, Ann of Green Gables

1. I’ve been walking almost everyday and this is my closest park, that October light really made it pop!

2. Got caught in a torrential downpour which was not great but I found shelter and had a lovely time people watching. I also think Dublin is particularly attractive in the rain.

3. My baby niece turned 11 in October. How the baby is 11 is blowing my mind but here we are. I always enjoy this particular part of my journey to my childhood home. Getting a ferry home isn’t usual occurrence.

4. Halloween nails 💅

5. This years trip to Spain was done in style. My first ever business class journey. Honestly thinking about paying stupid money for long haul flights now because travelling this way was actually really pleasant. We were both looking forward to the journey home which never happens! 😂

6. Had my last sea swim of the year in Spain. At the same time last year it was too cold to stay in the water for more than 5 minutes. This year I was in for almost an hour each time. It was gorgeous!

7. We were super lucky to have perfect hiking conditions. It was overcast and the clouds were down on the mountain. It was a great hike followed by an epic lunch.

8. We hike from Mijas which is the most picturesque little village in the mountains.

9. We had to take shelter from the rain in a cute bar on our last night in Spain and we treated ourselves to some cocktails.

10. I love the little spot we go to in Spain. We stay in a suite and upgrade to the VIP level. It’s a fabulous way to spend a few days.
