Trying to catch up on posting. I’m so far behind. 🙈

August started out as a really great month and then COVID hit me and it ended with me being very miserable, I actually just posted my Quick August 2024 – Wrap-up and mentioned going into a slump and now remembering the COVID, I think the not great books at the end of the month combined with being unwell is actually all to blame for the slump that followed! 😦

1. We had a rare sunny Thursday evening on the 1st of August (our summer was abysmal) so we drank wine and sit in the garden for the night. It was lovely and the last night sitting out.

2. Met a friend I hadn’t seen in an age for dinner and drinks. Went to Ruby Tuesday’s Soul Food and had amazing Jerk Chicken and absolutely epic fried plantain! Incredible food and just a really lovely night out.

3. August nails 💅 

4. & 5. Had a spa day with the bestie and it was delightful and we are now going to have one every quarter. 🧖‍♀️ 

6. We then went to dinner in Glas which is a gluten free vegan restaurant and oh my goodness did we eat!! It was so good.

7. One of my childhood best friends was visiting home from Australia, I had her come spinning with me. We had a blast and ate like kings afterwards! 😂

8. A week after she left I got covid though and it sucked. This obviously isn’t a highlight but I want to record it for future information! 🦠 

9. My first walk out after a week of quarantining. It was desperately needed. As were the random signs of encouragement in the park. 

10. Ended the month at a work thing that took me back to the Proleek Dolmen. It never fails to impress me!
