March was such a busy month, I felt like I was on the go nonstop!
I saw a lot of people and it was interesting looking at how much socialising I was doing four years on from the start of the pandemic. There were times during 2020/21/22 that it felt like we’d never spend time with people the same way again. Feeling lucky to be able to socialise somewhat normally again!

🎍The 1st of March brought us our first (and likely last) snow. This was the first time we’ve had a good bit of snow since we put our bamboo in, I was not expecting it to touch the ground like that. It bounced right back up as soon as the snow melted. Bamboo really is extraordinary!
👩🎤New hair, I got a lot taken off and a lot of layers because the weight of my hair was starting to cause headaches, I’m still trying to deal with styling it but it’s so much lighter!
🍸Had a planning meeting with the BFF for a little trip to Glasgow we are taking soon and it required cocktails. Obviously!
🍽️ Date day was a trip to one of our favourites. It’s kitschy AF but does a cracking duck confit and is really good value.
🌈Pre spinning rainbows and goodbye to the dark mornings. I’m actually finding it a bit hard to adapt to. In winter it would only start getting light as I was coming home so the day felt like it was just starting as I was entering my house. It’s full bright leaving the house now and the morning feels looooong. I’m sure I’ll get used to it!
💅Cherry blossom nails. Very on point for March!
🏖️My goddaughter made her confirmation in March so I spent the weekend with family and friends and it’s been a while since I saw so many people when visiting where I grew up and I had so much fun.
🌸 Cherry blossoms in bloom in the garden. We just had a storm that blew all the blossoms off the trees. I’m always sad to see them go.
🍽️ An unexpected date day. We were supposed to have visitors Easter weekend but they postponed so we went for cocktails and sushi on Good Friday. Being able to go out on Good Friday is still a relatively new thing so it’s very much a novelty and I for one really like it.
🥂 I also had my godsons confirmation in March, we went to an escape room and dinner after and it was epic. We got out in like 35 minutes and it was all my nephews and niece, their brains totally looked at clues differently to the adults. Very clever!
